WHERE CAN I FIND MY LICENSES AND DOWNLOAD LINKS FOR THE PLUGINS I BOUGHT? A) If you purchased your plugins directly from the RJ Studios webstore you can check your account purchases, download links and licenses any time at this link: https://raisingjakestudios.Onfastspring.Com/account/ B)  If you purchased your plugins from a retailer - on-line dealer, music store, etc. - you will need to obtain the voucher code from the purchase receipt and re-register the plugin per the Retail Voucher Redeem page. THE PLUGIN IS NOT ACCEPTING MY LICENSE CODE • Make sure you are trying to register the correct plugin.  For example, SideMinder 2 and SideMinder ME2 are different plugins. • You must be connected to the internet when entering the license code.  If you are not typically connected, for performance or security reasons, please connect, register, then disconnect. • Please copy the code then RIGHT-CLICK-PASTE the code into the plugin's ENTER LICENSE CODE HERE field.  The keyboard paste command “Ctrl-V” is reserved (blocked) in some DAWs (such as Logic and Reaper) and will not work.  Do not try to type in the code as it may contain special characters and/or blank spaces that are not obvious. • If you have a third party antivirus program installed you may need to temporarily disable it when registering or add "raisingjakestudios.com" to the whitelist/do not block section. • If you are on an Mac running OS Sonoma try registering the plugin while running it in Rosetta mode.  There is a reported bug in OS Sonoma that is blocking the license system in ARM mode.  After registering your license code in Rosetta mode you can then close and re-open the plugin as native ARM/M1. HOW DO I PAY FOR MIXING AND MASTERING WORK? Projects    are    billed   via    Stripe    Invoice    upon    completion    of work.      Large   projects   may   require   a   50%   deposit   to   start with   remainder   billed   upon   completion.      We   will   advise   at the time of your project inquiry. I HAVE MY OWN DAW AND DO MY OWN MIXING - WHY DO I NEED YOU TO MIX OR MASTER MY SONG? Perspective!     You   are   very   close   to   your   project   and   may   not be    hearing    it    as    it    sounds    to    everyone    else.        Most commercial   records   and   video   are   produced   by   groups   of people     -     recording     engineers,     mixing     engineers     and mastering   engineers   -   who   all   contribute   to   the   final   sound.     The    combined    input    of    all    of    these    individuals    helps    to balance   out   any   personal   bias   and   offers   the   best   of   each discipline. CAN YOU MASTER VINYL? We   can   “pre-master”   your   album   in   preparation   for   vinyl   but we   do   not   have   an   in-house   cutting   lathe.      We   can   refer   you to    cutting    engineers    or   you    can    take   your    pre-master    to most   record   pressing   plants   and   they   will   prepare   your   vinyl laquers. I HIRED SOMEONE TO CLEAN UP MY DIGITAL VIDEO AUDIO BUT THE VIDEO NOW LOOKS BAD/LOW QUALITY - WHAT HAPPENED? The   engineer   who   did   that   work   likely   edited   the   audio   with video   editing   software.      Many   times   that   process   ends   up “re-rendering”   the   video   portion   of   the   file.      At   Raising   Jake Studios   we   separate   the   audio   from   the   video   so   that   only the   audio   track   is   modified.      We   then   recombine   (“remux”) the    audio    track   with    the    original   video    track.        No   video degradation occurs using this process. CAN YOU WORK WITH 5.1 OR 7.2 DIGITAL SURROUND SOUND FILES? We   are   currently   set   up   for   stereo   only.      Surround   sound audio. Coming soon - please check back! HOW DO I GET MY DIGITAL FILE(S) TO/FROM YOU? All   audio   files   (even   if   only   one   file)   should   be   encoded   into   a "zip"   file   and   transferred   via   a   service   such   as   wetransfer.     Do   not   send   these   files   directly   to   our   email   address   (large attachments   will   be   rejected   by   the   server).      "zipping"   the file(s)   helps   to   ensure   that   no   data   corruption   occurs   during the transfer and keeps groups of files contained. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY COMPLETED FILE(S)? Turn    time    depends    on    current    workload    but    is    typically within   3   business   days.      If   we   have   a   large   project   in   work (album    mix,    etc.)    the    schedule   will    be    longer.        We   work projects   on   “first   in   -   first   out”   basis,   prioritizing   in-work projects    before    starting    new    projects.        We    will    advise schedule at time of your project inquiry.
